PROBLEM:
Through-damage affected approximately 25 m of a conveyor belt. The damaged area compromised the integrity of the lining and required rapid intervention to prevent further progression.
SOLUTION:
FLEXSOL® BF-01 was applied to rebuild and seal the conveyor belt. Despite the extent of the damage, the repair was completed in five hours, significantly less time than the conventional hot-vulcanization method.
RESULT:
The conveyor returned to service 45 minutes after application. Its uniform application and bubble-free curing allowed the lining to retain the mechanical properties required to accommodate belt movement. One week later, the repair remained securely bonded.
